This product is made of glass, composed of two glass hemispheres with different diameters. The exposed part is a hemisphere that receives light sources from any direction, with consistent reflection within a 360° range, also known as a 360° cat's eye reflector. It can be automatically cleaned in rainy days. After full tempering treatment, the surface is wear-resistant and can withstand a pressure of up to approximately 45 tons. It has a long service life, high safety, and good reflective performance.
It has high surface hardness and wear resistance; the protruding part is hemispherical, without sharp edges, ensuring smooth driving. Vehicles have a vibration warning function when driving at high speeds across lanes; repeated contact and wear with vehicles do not affect the reflective effect. During the production process, it undergoes grinding and polishing, and the surface smoothness reaches optical Ⅲ -- Ⅳ grade, with self-cleaning and maintenance functions. It does not accumulate dust or mud and requires no cleaning. Once installed, it is a one-time solution, never breaking. The high reflectivity can be maintained for 10 years, especially in high darkness and strong winds and rain, it can maintain the best reflection brightness. During long-term use, due to its highly smooth glass surface and no dead corners or seams, it is not easy to accumulate dust, ensuring long-lasting all-weather bright light reflection.
Currently, some glass manufacturers on the market are imitating products with similar appearances, but due to their special processes, not all glass manufacturers can produce high-quality glass road studs.
There are two main points: Firstly, 360° Glass road studs it must be fully tempered. After self-explosion or pressure fracture, the fragments should be obtuse-angled particles. Many are semi-tempered or not tempered at all, so the compressive strength does not meet national standards, and they are easily damaged, potentially damaging car tires or even causing secondary harm to pedestrians on the road;
Secondly, 360° Glass road studs the reflector of the disc base is an aluminum reflector, which is completely fused and welded with the glass, and cannot be scraped off. The outer surface is rough, enhancing the adhesion and bite with the road surface, and increasing the stability of the facility. Currently, many on the market are painted or ordinary sandblasted. As everyone knows, paint is very easy to fall off outdoors. Once the paint falls off, it's just glass, and there's no reflective effect; ordinary sandblasting can be scraped off with a blade, and there is no good fusion welding. Whether the glass road studs self-explode or are pressure fractured, or lose their reflective effect, they will face complaints or reinstallation, which will increase costs and seriously affect road safety and generate a large amount of follow-up maintenance work.
